Q: What is in the set? A: A 10 metre Evolamp festoon harness with 20 E27 lampholders, 20 Evolec 1W LED clear warm white golf ball lamps, and the 3 metre Evolamp mains lead with a three pin plug.
Q: Can I add more length later? A: Yes. The harness is connectable, so you can add more Evolamp harnesses end to end up to 100 metres from the one mains lead.
Q: How much power does it use? A: About 20W for the full set, since each LED lamp is 1W.
Q: Can I change the lamps for colours? A: Yes. The holders are standard E27 screw, so you can swap in coloured LED golf balls, filament lamps or effect lamps at any time.
Q: Can they be used outdoors? A: These sets are rated IP44, so they cope with rain and splashing water. Keep the plug, transformer and any couplers off the ground and dry, ideally in a DRiBOX weatherproof connection box, and power them from an outdoor rated socket rather than a lead run through a window.
