A single 30 metre run with 300 static LEDs, supplied with its own transformer and plug. This is the set to reach for when you want one continuous length rather than several joined sets, for a long hedge, a driveway boundary or a large tree.

Static light, not flashing

These are static LEDs with no controller and no flash settings. For a hedge or a tree line that is usually what you want, a steady even light rather than something that blinks at the neighbours all evening. If you want multi function settings, the mains connectable sets carry a controller instead.

Where it works

A 30 metre run covers a long hedge, a driveway boundary, a fence line or a large garden tree. Because it is not connectable, plan one set per run and one socket per set. Keep the transformer off wet ground and inside a weatherproof connection box such as the DRiBOX if it is staying out for the season.

Q: Can I join two of these together?
A: No, this set is not connectable. Each 30 metre run needs its own socket. If you need to join lengths, the low voltage connectable sets or the 230V connectable sets are the ones to use.

Q: Do the lights flash?
A: No, they are static. There is no controller and no flash setting, which is what most people want on a hedge or a tree line.

Q: Is 30 metres enough for a hedge?
A: For a front boundary hedge, usually yes. Measure the run and allow extra for going over and back if you want depth rather than a single line along the top.

Q: Can it stay out all winter?
A: Yes, it is made for outdoor use. Protect the transformer and the plug rather than the lights, that is what fails first in wet weather.
