The Optimum OP-BM/1HTWF01 is a WiFi universal boiler module and immersion heater control. It lets you put an existing heating or hot water circuit on a smartphone-controlled schedule without replacing the boiler or the cylinder.

Programmable through the app on either a 24 hour or 7 day basis, it controls a volt-free switch rated at 16 amps resistive — so it can switch the circuit without carrying the load itself.

Fits inside the boiler

The WiFi module can be removed from its enclosure and mounted directly inside boilers that have a suitable timer aperture. That means a tidy installation with no extra box on the wall, which is why it's a popular retrofit for putting a standard boiler on smart control.
