Q: Will a 600x600 LED panel fit my suspended ceiling?
A: Yes. The panel measures 595 x 595mm, which is sized to drop into a standard 600 x 600mm suspended grid ceiling in place of a ceiling tile. Measure the grid first if the ceiling is older or non standard.

Q: How bright is a 40W LED panel?
A: This panel gives 3200 lumens from 40 watts. How many panels a room needs depends on its size, the ceiling height and the work being done, so call us on 01 401 9907 for a quick layout check.

Q: What is the difference between a backlit and an edge lit panel?
A: A backlit panel has its LEDs spread across the back of the panel, shining straight through the diffuser. An edge lit panel feeds light in from the frame around the sides. Backlit panels give very even light and are a popular choice for offices and shops.

Q: What does UGR 22 mean?
A: UGR is the Unified Glare Rating, a measure of the discomfort glare a fitting causes, and a lower number means less glare. This panel is UGR 22, which suits shops, corridors and general areas. For offices with heavy screen work, UGR 19 or lower is the figure usually specified.

Q: Is 4000K right for an office?
A: Yes. 4000K is cool white, a neutral light that is the usual choice for offices, shops, classrooms and workshops because it keeps a space bright without looking blue. For a warmer domestic feel, 3000K is more common.

Q: Can this LED panel be dimmed?
A: No. This panel is not dimmable, so connect it to a standard switch rather than a dimmer.

Q: Can I use this panel in a bathroom or outdoors?
