Q: Are bulbs included with the Winston wall light?
A: No. It takes two GU10 bulbs, one facing up and one facing down, and they are sold separately. We stock GU10 LED bulbs, and a pair of low energy LED GU10s is the best match for an outdoor light that stays on for hours.

Q: Can it be used outside in Ireland?
A: Yes. It is rated IP44, which means it is protected against rain and splashing water from any direction. That suits a sheltered or open wall beside a front door, a patio or a garden path. It is not designed to be submerged or hosed directly.

Q: What wattage bulb can I use?
A: GU10 bulbs up to 35W. In practice a 4W to 6W LED GU10 gives plenty of light for an entrance or patio and costs very little to run, and LEDs keep the fitting cool.

Q: Do I need an electrician to fit it?
A: Yes. It is a 240V fitting wired into a lighting circuit, and in Ireland new outdoor lighting work should be done by a registered electrician. Once wired it can be switched from inside or run from a timer or sensor on the circuit.
