The Fumagalli Sichem Cefa is a hanging outdoor lantern: a Cefa lantern head on an adjustable Sichem chain, supplied complete. It takes one E27 bulb up to a maximum of 60W. The body is black shockproof resin, UV stabilised and rust and corrosion free, with a clear UV stabilised PMMA diffuser. It is rated IP55. It opens without tools for changing the bulb, and the power cable is hidden. It carries a lifetime anti-rust and corrosion guarantee, so it suits properties along the coast exposed to sea spray and salty air.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is the Fumagalli Sichem Cefa suitable for a house by the sea?
A: Yes. It has a lifetime anti-rust and corrosion guarantee and will not rust when exposed to sea spray or salty air.
Q: What bulb does it take?
A: It takes a standard E27 Edison screw bulb, up to a maximum of 60W. An LED E27 bulb gives the same light for a fraction of the power and lasts far longer.
Q: Is the chain adjustable?
A: Yes. The Sichem chain is adjustable, so you can set the hanging height.
Q: Do I need tools to change the bulb?
A: No. The lantern has a tool free opening mechanism for relamping.
Q: Is it waterproof enough for outdoor use in Ireland?
A: Yes. It is rated IP55, which means it is protected against dust and against low pressure water jets from any direction. The resin body is UV stabilised and rust and corrosion free.
Q: Do I need an electrician to install it?
A: Yes. It is a mains powered fixed outdoor light, so in Ireland it should be connected by a registered electrician.
