The ATC Welcome WEL3000 is a 3kW electric over door heater. It mounts on the wall above an entrance and blows a curtain of warm air down across the doorway. This cuts the cold draught that comes in each time the door opens and keeps the area just inside the door warm. It has three settings: cool (fan only, 50W), half heat (1500W) and full heat (3000W). An infrared handheld remote control is included, and there are manual controls on the heater. A volt free contact lets you switch it from a time clock or a door sensor. The body is 600mm wide, 139mm high and 221mm deep, so it fits where the space between the top of the door frame and the ceiling is limited. It weighs 7.35kg and comes pre wired with a 1m cable. On full heat the heater draws about 13A, so it should be connected to a suitable switched supply by a registered electrician. Mount it inside the building, centred above the door.
